A member shall discharge his responsibilities faithfully to his client. To uphold this principle a Member undertakes at all times to apply the conditions of a contract with entire fairness between his client and any contractor and in an impartial manner.

 

National Architects MUST seat for Architectural Registration Examination

Requirement for National Architects resident in Qatar

  1. Be of good moral character
  2. Be at least 21 years of age
  3. Hold a professional degree in architecture from a college or university where the degree program has been accredited. These degrees include the B. Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) which is a five-year program or the M. Arch (Masters in Architecture).
  4. Have at least three years' experience in the offices of a registered architect or its equivalent as outlined.
  5. There is a refundable application fee.

For International Architects coming to Qatar

Note :- NO Registration Examination for international Architectss

Downlaod Registration Form , fill it, scan and email the form to registrar@qatariunionarch.org Make payment to the location of your country's international verification officer .
Payment are made through Bank Transfer to enable us issue the license within 8 working days.
send the below through email.
1. Scanned copy of your certificates of qualification in language of origin (To be translated by the international verification officer)
2. Company profile
3. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
4. Payment slip of fee(s) made
5. International passport or any form of identification
6. Apllication form

 

PRIOR TO THE ABOVE ALL INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT DO NOT NEED TO SEAT FOR ANY EXAM THEY HAVE TO PASS THROUGH VERIFICATION EXECRISE BEFOR THEY WILL BE ALLOWED TO WORK IN THE COUNTRY. FILL A FORM IN THE CATEGORY YOU FALL AND SUBMIT FOR VERIFICATIONS WITH THE NECCESARY DOCUMENTS.

    • We  foster and maintain public confidence in the integrity and ability of architects and to represent the profession by providing a link with the Government, the Public and other organizations.
    • We  define and redefine, whenever necessary, the functions and role of architects in the built environment.

The International Architect or Consultant should Know this
Kindly Note the following
1. Your payment is refundable : If your verification is not clear we will refund your payment. this will not take up 48 hours.
2. It is the responsiblity of the Architects , to pay for his registration , because We will only make refund only to the Architects to avoid impersonation
3. Any client or company found paying for any Architect will be treated as impersonation, and going against the QUA bye law . This is because most company now present draft men to us as international Architect or Consultant , this has come to a stop

1. International Architects, should know that they must obtain the QUA certification Practicing license before coming to partner with a Local Architects in Qatar to enable us approve his or her preliminary competence .
2. We have waved the condition for providing a monetary performance bond, and / or to transfer copyright without payment which is very difficult for most International Architects, with that it is the obligation of the Architects to obtain this certification Not the client.
3. Is against QUA  bye law for client or investor to pay for an international Architects registration fee, in such a case it will be treated as malpractice.
4. Tell your client to fill the client requirement form to assure your guarantee any propose Project . Download client requirment form here
5. International Architects MUST obtain it practicing license certification before his/her entry to Qatar .
6. International Architects must obtain certification as an independent entity before the approval of it preliminary competence for any project in Qatar and should not rely on local Architects on his work .
