President's Message

I speak as a body not as individual , because in unity we are building a new Qatar and with the help of professionals like you we will make the best and create the impossible in Qatar.
Good Professional standards are the hallmark of any profession, and architects, builders, Engineers, surveyors and consultancy firms for development are no exception.
The Emirate Qatari Union of Architects Board of Qatar has developed a Code of Conduct to provide guidance for members in their professional lives.  This Code of Conduct was approved on 29 March 2002 and serves as the boards bye.
Where conduct falls short of the Code, it may amount to unprofessional conduct under the Act and give the Board cause to take disciplinary action.
In this way, we ensure that the integrity of the profession is maintained, and members of the public can be confident that when hiring for their project, they are securing the services of a genuine professional.

In conclusion we insist that any firm or individual wishing to practice in her must be certified before entry into Qatar. For indigenous companies must also meet the standard of the before handling or partnering with any firm.
