Procedure you MUST follow

Application for membership shall be made to the Honorary Secretary on the Board’s prescribed Application Form. Admission to membership shall be by a simple Verification by our verification officers and international verification officer for international Architects. In the event of any rejection of membership, the Council shall give reasons in writing to the applicant and make refunds. Certification of all documents will be made before any project commences and for International Applicants must have his/her certificate preview before we allow entry for the purpose of any project in Qatar

 

For National Architects resident in Qatar

National firms MUST seat for its Professional Registration Examination
Send the below through email

  1. Professional Certificate of Approval Practice

  2. Company profile

  3. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  4. Your certificate number.

  5. Educational Certificate

  6. Qatar  identification Number

International firms and partnerships must also be approved separate from individual registration.

All national firms MUST have written the Development Professional Practice Examination (DPPE) to enable the firm practice professional in Qatar

For International Applicants
Note :- NO Registration Examination for International Firms

Downlaod Registration Form , fill it, scan and email the form to registrar@qatariunionarch.org make payment to the location of your country's international verification officer .
Payment are made through Bank Transfer to enable us issue the license within 8 working days.
Kindly Make your “country”the subject of your mail. Example  My country name “Qatar”
International Firms
Send the below through email

  1. Scanned copy of your professional certificate of qualification in language of origin (To be translated by the international verification officer)

  2. Company profile

  3. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  4. Payment slip of fee(s) made for the category you are applying for.

  5. Registration form (kindly fill the forms in BOLD letter for clarity.

  6. International passport or any form of identification

International firms and partnerships must also be approved separate from individual registration.
All international firms MUST obtain this certificates independently prior to any form of visit or project in Qatar.

 

 

The International Firms should Know this
1. International Firms , should know that they must obtain the Practicing license before coming to partner with a Local firm in Qatar to enable us approve his or her preliminary competence .
2. We have waved the condition for providing a monetary performance bond, and / or to transfer copyright without payment which is very difficult for most International Firms , with that it is the obligation of the firm to obtain this certification Not the client.
3. Is against QUA bye law for client or investor to pay for an international Firms registration fee, in such a case it will be treated as malpractice.
4.Tell your client to fill the client requirement form to enable assure your guarantee any propose Project . Download client requirement form here
5. International Firms MUST obtain it practising License certification before his/her entry to Qatar.
6. International Firms must obtain certification as an independent entity before the approval of it preliminary competence for any project in Qatar and should not rely on local Firms on his work .
